True Story

Real Programmers don’t comment their code. If it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.

Android 4.2 on my Nexus S

image

Finally the time has come!
I just installed Android 4.2 on my NS…
The problem is that Google doesn’t officially support it so this one is a custom ROM therefore is a bit “slow” (but still good enough :))

If anything happens (like an explosion or smth. :p) I’ll let you know!

Joni.

P.S.: I just saw that it says Galaxy Nexus on the “Model Number” but that’s probably just because that the original ROM was for GN…

Absinthe!!!

I’m just quoting what I wrote on instagram:

Nexus S – predicting the future since 2010 :p #czech #absinthe

Awesome Waste of Money

I know that it’s pretty usual for governments to spend people’s money on “not so smart” things but I think this one needs to be noticed…

Paying Facebook to thank a government for “welcoming” someone is really beyond my logic.

Prague, Snow and Spanish People…

Prague Astronomical Clock

This one I took last week in Prague. It’s the famous Astronomical Clock that you see every time you try to find information about Prague :)

PHP – Get Weather data from wunderground

This is a function I wrote about two years ago and I’m just posting it to see how the code highlight works :)

Living Statue

This is an old picture I took in Rome in 2010 and is one of the most amazing things I saw there (of course except Colosseum & Co.).

That statue you see there is actually a man and we walked by him a couple of times thinking it was just a statue until he decided to move…

Hello world!

Well this actually is a Hello World post I wrote and not the usual wordpress one…

I just wanted to say hi to everyone who is reading this blog (or going to read in the future since this is the first post and there isn’t much to see at the moment…).

This is going to be my new “Online Home” so come by time after time :)

For a long time I have used ditari.im, the platform I wrote myself for blogging but I think it’s time to move on to a superior one now. I’m sure I’ll miss using my thing but it didn’t offer the accessibility WordPress does (my fault, I know!) so it was a logical move (and I also love wp :)).

Joni.

P.S: My old blog is still online at http://jonian.ditari.im if you want to check it out…
